Welcome to the 2010/11 hockey league season, and my first duty as chairman is to welcome players both old and new to what should be a successful season.

One of the most pleasant aspects for this new season is the willingness of new players prepared to take over captaincies in both the men and ladies teams. I wish you all good luck and also thanks to all the other members of the committee who have continued in their roles from last year.

The success of any club relies on new blood as every year players retire, move or just slip away. If you are a player who is new to the game or just moved to the area please come along to our training nights as detailed on the web site and join in with the club not just for the hockey but also the social side of our teams.

We run 5 adult men’s teams and 3 ladies teams together with a very well organised youth development policy playing in their own competitions and leagues.
